Maybe we shouldn't go up against such a fantastic samba but i hope you guys like our '67 deluxe splitty. Also from Texas, his name is Rodriguez.

Unlikely to have a chance against that Samba (Especially with those superb pro shots), but here goes.............
My 1965 Californian Import purchased from a forum member last November. Currently in Absolute VW having some bits and bobs updated/fixed/maintained to get it ready for summer.............

I saw it in Absolute VW last Saturday. Had a good look at it whilst it was there. As did most of the other visitors.
Just down your way picking up some Devon interior bits that I had bought of eBay.

Good of you to say mate. Theres a few more things I want to do to it yet, such as Safaris and more work on the interior but the mechanical bits are sapping my resources and have to take priority!

having fun just being involved.feel a bit of a fake as all the resto work was done 2008/09 by the previous owner but i love seeing our bus on ssvc so "what the hell".
will be at bus types (oswestry show) this weekend so come on over and say hello anybody.

Im a big fakie too as all my work so far was done by the previous owner. Im just undoing a bit and putting stuff right mechanically (well, when I say I, I mean Simon at Absolute VW, with my dosh) so dont feel too bad!

just got back from oswestry.....beautiful sunny days...freezing nights but great time.frostbite on me toes,sunburn on me nose....great start to the vdub season.
