OK or I will never do it. Its Time.
May I present Otto My 61 Panel
And the specs
Engine
2007 cc
Porsche cooling
Twin 44 IDF’s
Engle 110 cam
Wedgeport heads
1.25 ratio rockers
8.5-1 compression ratio.
CSP push rod tubes
CSP python stainless Exhaust
Full flow oil system with remote cooler
Petronix 1 ignition
Kennedy stage 1 clutch
Interior
Cabinets made and installed by Kustom interiors based in wadebridge cornwall
Upholstery by Colin Rouse of autotrim based at retrodubs in Truro, I am still using the original full width front bench seat just recovered.
¾ rock and roll bed
Led roof lighting
Eberspacher B1L petrol heater……(very handy in the alps!)
1960’s swamp cooler imported from the states. This unit is not a window fitted one it sits in the cargo area and uses iced water to cool the interior.
Vifrigo 12v fridge
1962 Blaupunkt Koln radio rewired by myself to accept an Iphone input and then passes through a 700w kenwood amp speakers front and rear.
Smiths classic gauges including electronic speedo (runs of a hall effect sensor on driveshaft bolts)
Safaris front and rear.
12v 2 speed wiper motor
CSP shifter
Running gear.
Standard width adjustable front beam.
CSP front discs
Creative Engineering rear drums
IRS rear end also creative
Cetreline wheels
Specially built 1303s gearbox (just rebuilt by bears motorsport) including longer 4th gear all gears welded.
Mid and rear gearbox gearbox straps to cope with the extra power.
Adjustable spring plates
Van is lowered but not scrapingly low
Loom
ISIS 3 cell Multiplex computer controlled wiring loom (also operated through my I phone)
http://www.isispower.com
Exterior
Halogen H4 lights
LED brake / running lights
4 bow roof stainless roof rack
Probably other stuff I can't remember.
Just got back from a 2000 mile round trip to Perpignon in France and Otto made it there and back under his own steam, with few issues. Just enough problems to make me feel useful.
Anyway there you go

1958 we have owned since 2007 and was restored during 2008 so has stood up well to lots of weekends away and holidays to the West Country
Small back window and working semaphores, ribbed bumpers - Right hand drive from SA
Gets lots of very nice comments when we are out and about and great to see she brings a smile to peoples faces when they come alongside on the motorway
Teardrop van added last year and colour coded to match as we bought it 2nd hand - had a friend re-make the wheel guards to match the vans profile and yes we do sleep in it

Thanks Sooty she is a very well looked after and spoilt van and bearing in mind the restoration took place 4 years ago it shows that preparation is the key
Just come back from a Corwnwall trip just over 1000 miles and not one cough or splut - just lots of suicide flies
