Here's my bus - a 1965 11 window which was imported from Utah in June 2011. It came as a solid, but empty, shell with a 1600cc motor in it and was lowered in the US.
Since owning it is has been subjected to a full mechanical rebuild with all the running gear either upgraded or replaced including overhaul of the 4in narrowed beam, adjustable spring plates, CSP disc brakes, Type 3 rear drums etc.
I've also had my 2007cc 130bhp engine installed which I had built for my Bay and it ran a personal best on its first run at Santa Pod at VW Action in 2011 of 18.1 seconds (so far!). It has a basic camping interior inside, but is more of a rolling project than a complete bus
as I'm always looking into ways to upgrade its performance as and when I get the chance!
Hope you like it!
Cheers,
Mike

Thank you
The passenger door has a habit of bouncing off its catch when you hit a pot hole, the dog leans on the door as we travel,,so better safe than sorry, the gauge pod took ages, stainless tigged and polished.

Thought i'd try my luck.1965 micro bus with a SO42 westy interior.Exported from Germany to Houston Texas in 1965 then imported to the UK in 2012.The cab area has been refurbished with the correct door and kick panels and the seats have the correct period salt and pepper material.New correct period headlining.
