I'm sure I've got a few bits and pieces going spare but postage weight wouldn't make it worth it, I've got quite a good Bosch jigsaw I can donate at cost of postage as I've bought a new one. But other than that I'd be more than happy to donate say £20 towards tools to help you out if you pm me payment details

8O thank you very very much for your kind offer, but I can't accept!!
After a run of bad luck, this post has picked me up.
You guy's are the greatest.

Keep an eye on the Aldi special buys, they've got nothing this week but the tools are usable when they have them... I bought a compressor from them for 60 quid with all the kit, 8 years later, 4 vans and two beetles sprayed, countless tyres pumped up and it's still going strong....

have you lost your tools?? (im not sure whats happened)

I always consider a small grinder disposable as well, so go for a cheapy and you will be ok

Halfords sell good quality tools with a good gaurentee at reasonable prices, if you can convince them to give you a trade card then you can get serious savings ( if you are ever in north devon pm me and ill come in with you to get the savings were talking up to 40%)

Well it's a long story. Back in 2013 we were living in Portugal and struggling along (like everyone else over there!!). That was until my dad died and I came back with my family to sort everything out. It was not until we arrived at his house and realised there was a problem; my sister had been there and taken many things, most importantly she had taken all paperwork including his will. She then denied that he ever made a will and that's really where the trouble starts. It (well she) got really nasty, to the point that it was an aunty that told me when the funeral was as she had arranged it. To cut a long nasty story short, well we ran out of money to return and since the boys had to go to a school we stayed in the hope of eventually sorting things out. Everything I own, including my busses is stuck in Portugal - I hope it is still there!! We have been saving up to get our dogs back and maybe a van but it has been two steps forward and one step back. Lucikily my wife has found a good job, but because I have ankylosing spondylitis that was misdiagnosed (fused neck and spine) I have not been so lucky. I'm o.k. but may struggle getting under a van!! Things are getting better though, we have managed to rent a house with a garage, and last week I got a washing machine from oxfam!! (First one in 4 1/2 years, no more washing in the bath, yay!!). Things could have got me down, but thanks to some kind people on here and some other random acts of kindness, it hasn't. There are good people in the world and I glad to say that many of them are in this club.
Cheers,
Dom.

Had no idea Dom - blummin glad I was able to help out !

Hope it all works out ok for you and do keep us posted of developments.

Also, don't be shy in posting up a list of what else you need, irrespective of whether its tools or not. I'm sure there's plenty of us who will be only to happy go help out.

Most importantly, let's get those doggies back !

PM me your email addy and I'll make a paypal donation towards repatriating them. They'll be missing you !

Cheers
