The SSVC Forum and Facebook (again)

For dinner this evening I will be dining on lamb shanks in a reduced red wine jus, served with celeriac mash and glazed green beans. Not.
I use both FB and the forum but, as previously stated, the FB feed scrolls through quite quickly and then is lost forever. The threads on the forum are built on and each one tells a story.

I think there should be more links on FB to re-direct traffic to this site - perhaps the FB admin could look at setting up posts to go out on an hourly basis suggesting various threads to look at here. This doesn't require someone sitting at FB all day every day thinking of things to write and link to every hour; these posts can be pre-written and set to be published/posted up to a month(?) in advance. I'm sure that the posts can even be programmed to re-post on a never ending cycle. This suggestion, however, would depend on what type of FB page was set up in the first place…

As for my age? Well given that my eldest didn't get into his chosen school this week I'm behaving like an irrational 6 year old and will probably have a take-away for tea. :geek:

Looking forward to meeting you all at VF. :)

There's not much left of my bus that's stock so a manual would be useless

I joined FB to keep up with WaterAid feeds - I help them at festivals. I look at the SSVC group but the real info is on the forum. As Ian says there's lots for sale there.
I had Goan fish curry last night made with fish I had caught.
I am 109 next Christmas and still drive split buses.

I'm 32,consider my self pretty tech savvy and social but i absolute despise fb and I refuse to join it and firmly believe that its ruining society, I could not care less about what I'm "missing" I'm not being part of it.

I however fully admit to being a grumpy old git
