SSVC FAMILY CAMP OUT BANBURY. 15/16/17 August
by BusBug&KG » Sun Jun 22, 2014 4:36 pm
Hi all
We have just done a test run of this site that we found, decided it was perfect for a SSVC FAmily camp out.
I have booked an area for the 15/16/17 August 2014.
I have checked out the facility's,showers toilets etc, etc.ALL SPOT ON
The cost is at the moment £16 per unit per night
There is electric hook up,but limited numbers,so if you need hook up please state with an E after your name, this is available first come first served, when its gone its gone!!
Fire pits and BBQs are allowed but please keep on hard standing so NOT to burn the grass
The national"herb" centre is 1/2 mile away.
Fantastic walks all around the site
Farm shop(for your burgers and steaks)is 1 mile away
National heritage motor museum 5 miles
Banbury town centre 6 miles
But to be fair once on this site you won't want to leave!!so bring plenty beers!
Dogs are more than welcome, but must be on a lead on site, and any presents collected.
There is a field adjoining that dogs can be run freely
There is a falconry on site, the owners have agreed to open up Sunday morning,to show any interested parties around
A little talk and you get to handle at the end
The cost for this at the moment is £5 per adult,£2.50 per child, the more that are interested in this, the price will be reduced.
OH yes I forgot there is a small well stocked lake for fishing if interested.
Fishing £5 per day adult
Child £3.50
You must have a rod license
Had a little go myself over the weekend, would of been rude not to!!
These are a couple of the ones I caught.PM me if you need more info on the fishing.
This is one of the smaller ones that can be seen swimming around
OK so that's it if anyone needs more info, please pm me and I will try to help out.
Going to start a list below, just put your names down and join the SSVC fun.

That looks a good site tony, well done
Not for me though as I might be in France but that fish looks like its already smoked
Let me know if Phil ends up going for a swim so I can give magic a Marlin rod I've got
Oh!!! Is it a Goa frisbee friendly site????
