Just seen it on his website, shame as he made extremely good looms and was extremely helpful. No idea idea why but a loss of another superb supplier

Yes I've just been told as well - real shame - very helpful nice guy and although I'm still to fit it the quality looks great.

A real shame. I have one of his looms, he was always happy to give advice...... of which I did need a bit.

I've one of Peter's looms also and have had the benefit of being able to visit him on several occasions as he is local and get the benefit of his expert knowledge. Electrickery is really not my strong point but Peter gave me such confidence (and bloody good instructions!) that I fitted my new loom myself and it worked perfectly from day one.
A sad loss I agree. I know he pops on the forum now and then so if he does, thank you for all of your help peter. All round good guy, in name and nature.
Steve.

I have one of Peters looms fitted to Peebles and have one in store ready to fit to Sherry.
He will be sorely missed..
What a lovely person to deal with. .
I do hope he has good health...Without good health.. you have nothing.
Cheers Peter for all you patience and help.

The only time i ever used him was for a voltage dropper for my fuel gauge. He was very helpful and what he sent me was a bargain, worked perfectly and still does

Agreed. I cannot remember when I first met Peter but it was a long long time ago when he had a stall at a show. A brief examination of what he was selling and listening in to him answering questions convinced me that he was in the business for 90% interest and 10% business. He was helping a man explaining what he needed to do to investigate the faults with his starter motor....not sell him a replacement. He gave him a technical hand out showing what was what and where the faults lay. Over the years I have asked questions and received help. I ordered all Peebles's loom and aux loom and split charging items from him. I conversed on double 6v battery set ups and thankfully then ordered all my 12v electrics all over again for Sherry.
A true gentleman providing an invaluable service and help and solutions.
He will be missed

Shame to hear, not had reason to purchase anything off him for a long long time but has taken time to give me some brilliant help and advice on a few occasions in the past and has supplied some quality electrical bits and bobs.
If you read this I hope all is well and cheers.

The first time I went to a show on my own, without my parents, when I was 17/18.
I was driving there & the dynamo depolarised (?)
The wipers slowed down , I had to turn the lights off & worse, the CD player!!!!
Anyway When I got there I rang my dad on my greet big mobile phone & he said , him & mam would come up in the morning on the bike.
In between times I found Peter asked him a couple of questions he must have guessed by my blank expression he was dealing with an autoelectrophobic!!.,
To cut along story short by the time my dad arrived Peter was in the campsite fixing my van whilst I ran his stall!!!!
