What 52mm tach to buy
What 52mm tach to buy
by Claushema » Wed Feb 25, 2015 1:41 pm
I'm looking to buy and install a nice 52mm rev counter in my 67' SO42. I saw this one from VDO and it looks to be in sort of in the neighborhood of my gas gauge as far as appearance. I'll be installing it under the dash with a vdo bracket. No holes.

I assume this hooks up to the coil and not my alternator.
If anyone has a nicer solution or any advice, please let me know.
Thanks,
Dan

Did you see their other gauges as well ??
Some very nice kit.
I used this company for my chrome bezel for my fuel gauge. If the quality was anything to go by, then the gauges will be Bob on.
Pleasure to deal with as well....
Phil.

Not cheap, but sometimes it's worth paying that little bit more......

Just got off the phone with North Hollywood speedo. For the 2 1/16th" tach 200 USD + 38 postage + who knows what the customs man is gonna want. 3 weeks lead time. Think I'll go for it Though I do like the 3 1/8th" tach. That's 300USD. Beautiful work they do.
