Have you checked why?

Is it sawing into the gearbox casing?

Lots of choice but if it is jamming...will happen again...

I'm about to fit an empi branded adjustable one ( for twin carbs) I went for it as its a cable rather than a piece of stiff wire...from JK

Not investigated why it snapped yet it May we'll be snagged installing a Buttys pedal kit & a Throttle Cable Roller so a good quality cable in between the two would be "belt & braces"
Any other ideas/ suggestions ( twin carbs)

I have a single bar linkage with a single cable pull.
I am using karl_f's roller.
Very Pleased...

Will take a picture at the week end.
