Can anyone divulge what your paying for fully comp with RH? Doing it on a multicar, i have been quoted £150 for my oval and £400 for the school bus.

I've just moved from A. flux to AH saved £100 down to £260 for a 66 valued at £30000 i hope this helps maybe insure them separate

I'm with RH, £152 fully comp ,agreed value etc. only the bus none of this multi car stuff.
Perhaps they weren't expecting the school bus to be used on the road!!!

That's about the same as me (except I'm only on half that at the moment as it's off the road). I'm an old git though @ 43 (and the wife and I have daily drivers that are not with RH).

I insure my bus,single cab & classic honda CB100N motorbike with them, both buses are around £240 combined fully comp,agreed value, bike was around £80

Sounds like scene tax on that bus
£168 last year fully comp for me, and that's with a Dudley post code.
~£60 this year, as harder to steal a bare shell.

Do RH require a written valuation by an 'expert' before they will insure an expensive bus? Or do they, as some do, let you set a value yourself. This would be for an agreed value policy.

When I spoke to RH they would do:
Garaged = agreed value (but yes still need professional/club valuation)
Ungaraged but on private drive = no agreed value (still get a valuation though to prove yours is worth more than market value when claiming)
Not on private drive = won't insure
I was with Footman James before (or possibly Adrian Flux can't quite remember which now) and they did agreed value with no valuation and would have covered it parked on the street (although mine wasn't at the time). I guess that's why their policy was three times the price.
