Has anyone have any idea how much those Repro Devon interiors cost to have installed? And are they any good compared to the original.
I'm thinking of fitting one into my 58' Panel van.........
Thanks
Michael

A few different people have done different repros. Do you mean the bu5nut ones?
He used to be doing them for around the £3-4k mark but you'd have to check. Long waiting list and someone told me he might have taken a break.
Quality is excellent though from those I've seen.
Pretty sure he'll only do pre-59 curved cupboard ones now. More expensive version as more real wood, more finishing and the curve is labour intensive.
Later ones have more ply laminates and Formica so less wood and less French polishing too. I seem to remember Kev did them for about £1k cheaper when he was doing them.
Hope that helps.

I think bu5nut on here is the chap who does them and they look pretty amazing (really accurate reproductions with the reassurance that everything will stand up to use). Have seen someone on ebay from barnsley doing em too all in for £4k fitted (don't think it's same fella but may be wrong)
Having fitted an original myself they are not hard to fit if you wanted to save some cash and have the time...very satisfying once in and camping

The interior on that link is made by a bespoke kitchen maker. I enquired about some Formica to be told they made one as a favour for a friend and then a couple more to sell, and that they wouldn't undertake or offer anything else.
**edit** it's this company http://www.ibosinteriors.co.uk

Thanks guys. Very helpful......... I'm still umming and arring about it. Like is it worth doing in a Panel van......? I've fitted a full width rock n roll bed in it but fancy another Devon interior as I had one in my old 64 many years ago.

Definitely worth putting in a panel!
I put a Pitt interior in mine and love it, totally transformed it.
