Help please! Front inner valance and A pillar problem

Hi there,
I am new to SSVC and this is my first post. I am hoping someone can help me sort out the following issue im having with the front inner valance (autocraft) and A pillar (klassicfab) on my 61 splitscreen.
The upper vertical lips of the inner valance and the A pillar bracket do not line up!! Am I missing something or am I making a simple mistake?
It seems like I have the inner valance and the A pillar bracket the wrong way around!?
If any one has suggestions I would be very grateful if you could set me straight.

You would be better panning out slightly on your photos.

type21f; it looks like I have a similar set up to the one in your photo. Have you put on the outer valance? Did the inner valance and outer valance come together Ok?
Do I need to do any correction to the A pillar bracket that sticks out from the vertical lip of the inner valance in my first photo?
