Retro Restoration - West Midlands based restoration company

Hi,
Not sure if this is allowed on here or not as I dont get chance to use the forum as much as I would like? I thought you guys may be interested to know about my business, and the sort of work we do.
We do mainly restoration and paintwork, but also undertake custom / mechanical / maintenance / servicing type work too. We are based in the West Midlands and have a 3000 sq ft workshop with modern and traditional metalworking tools, and a low bake spraybooth.
A few pics of what we are working on at the moment:
PGSG 57 - Full restoration, hopefully be finished for Volksworld 2018:
Mouse grey 63 - Original paint will be kept and repairs painted to match with the interior and chassis will be painted and detailed once the metalwork is complete:
My own mango 61 - Going to be 99% stock if I ever find time to finish it:
Hope its OK posting this here, and if anyone has any questions / comments feel free to drop me a message
Please delete this post if not allowed.
Thanks, Neil

Show us the beetles!
My favourite is the pink one tho sorry Neil!
Fantastic work carried out by these guys and they know engines as well! We have sent our own engine projects to them over the years and have been lucky enough to do work for them as well!
Highly recommend and a great company for all classic Volkswagens from start to show winner.

Well done Neil, all looks good, tidy and precise welding, attention to good gaps, clean workshop..what's not to like.
If you have a good reputation or are getting one, keep it, the business your in and the vehicles your doing have as your well aware of a very critical following, you will always have work with a good reputation, it worked for me, however I started to late in life to take full advantage of the possibilitys.
I wish you well...

Thanks Ron
We got the van finished enough to get to the Volksworld show. I didnt expect to win anything as there were some amazing cars there this year, and I wasnt totally happy with a few bits ... But ... we came away with a top 20 Chuffed with that
Few pictures of the finished van:
Hope you guys liked it?
Let me know if we could help you with your resto project
Cheers, Neil

Just deserts for a job well done, however it does beg the question, what the hell were the other vehicles like if you only got a top twenty.....wow...
In the current climate with values rising you do tend to get every Jack know all trying his luck at the resto game and convincing many a man to part with his hard earned on the promise his dreams are possible only to not only disappoint, but to relive the owner of all hope of ever getting the van finished now he, or she, is miked for every last cent they own.
Too many have been down this road, if these pictures don't convince people that this is a company that will go the distance and deliver then I don't know what will.
In this game...reputation is all....you either have it, or you don't deserve it, seek them out, they are out there...
Have a great future guys.....
Rocket Ron..

Been busy restoring a 66 Beetle and a Mexican Beetle at work, but finally back working on a Splitty
After struggling to find a chassis jig, we decided to make one - it took AGES!
Got the new chassis rails trial fitted. Cant wait to get back to work in the new year and get stuck into this
Have a good Christmas break everyone

Oh yeah... probably worth mentioning that
Open day at Retro Restoration in Brownhills, West Midlands.
Sunday 7th April 2019, 10am till 3pm.
Take a look around our workshop to view our work, current projects and the services we offer. Completed projects will also be available to view.
There will be a BBQ and refreshments - tea, coffee squash.
Show and shine depending on interest.
