I know there are loads of old threads but companys come and go. Are there any recent recommendations for someone to transport my van for an interior install.

You can hire a self drive transporter for about £100-150 a day plus diesel. You can't fault the service when you do it yourself...

I hired one with a mate to shift his buggy, but it was big enough to take a van. It had an electric winch and all the securing straps included. Drove about 60 miles round trip, cost £100 to hire and £11 worth of diesel.

In the meantime you could have been working and made more, and let the professionals with full insurance do it for less
