Looking for a specialist in Sussex
Looking for a specialist in Sussex
by neecouk » Mon Aug 06, 2018 9:42 am
Hi all
I have some work I'd like done to my T2 Early Bay. I'm in Sussex and wondering if anyone has used someone they would recommend? I found some on Google but it feels like guess work.
http://www.sussexaircooled.co.uk/company-info/contact
http://thebeetlewerks.co.uk/restoration.shtml
https://www.dougsvw-werks.co.uk/Contact-Us.html
https://www.vdubcampers.co.uk/
The work...
- Is to raise the bus back up to a sensible height (too low for our rural roads!)
- Help me source and replace the Porsche wheels with the traditional VW ones
- Some electrical questions with the interior lights and also the leisure battery
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks
Simon Nixon

Where in Sussex are you? Because there's a place in Penshurst which is just in Kent

I've used them for a couple of things and had no problem. Sam also organises the VolksWeald show.

Depending on how your bus is lowered it all sounds pretty straight forward.

www.kustomrevival.com, they did some metalwork & paint on my van, all great work, but will easily be able to do everything you mentioned, in Small Dole now.
