Searching for info on European Cars Limited of London, Middlesex & Reading

Anyone ever heard of European Cars Limited? Looks like they had a base in Reading but also from this advert in a 1960 copy of Autocar also in London.

I think European Cars were the ones who produced the Slumberwagen in 1959 and with the Calthorp roof option from 1960 ...

well what are after cos there's a stack of info on them in my interiors book from way back and a shortened version of that chapter was in SSVC mag in 2016 if you pm me your email I can send you word file of that, its about a calthorp roof model but has lots of generic stuff about EC who produced them...
its all a bit too much to post on here....!

I have managed to find these old adverts, does anyone have a bus that was supplied by European Cars Limited and have any original paperwork they will share? Looking for logo, typeface used for their letterheads/invoices etc etc

Thought you might like this. European Cars (Staines) Ltd. looked up the location some time ago - it's now (or was when I looked via Google Map) a McDonald's or similar.

You are right it is now a McDonalds, 554 London Road.

Can you get me a better picture of that plate please? Do you have any other information? Stamps in a service book, invoices etc etc
