My Single Cab is getting to the point where the Californian repaint is showing its limitations, so I'm preparing myself for the costs to strip and repaint and the various options.

Ignoring welding or any major dent repair costs, roughly what are the current going rates for...

Dipping
Media blasting
E coating
Epoxy priming
Painting and preparation (single colour)

I'm in the South East, but if the regional differences are huge, I'm not averse to factoring in trailoring costs.

I paid £1200 for blasting and I d been told £2500 for paint.
Stripped it all myself....still waiting for paint to be finished.

I'm looking for 'daily driver' standard paintwork. My main aim is to get it to the point where it's protected to as close to a modern standard as possible so it can be used year-round.

You have to factor in bodywork, that takes the time and makes painting a bus expensive.

Materials costs for a bus is around £1000 alone with primers, top coat, thinners, hardener etc depending on what grade paint used.
