NO BIKES AT VANFEST

I SEE ON THE VANFEST SITE THAT YOU CANT TAKE BIKES,SKATEBOARDS OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT MEANS HAVING FUN TO THE SHOW:(
I CAN UNDERSTAND NO MOTORISED RIDES AS THESE ARE A DANGER.
I LIKE MANY OTHER PEOPLE LIKE TO BRING MY OLD SKOOL BIKES TO SHOW AND RIDE ROUND MY KIDS LOOK FORWARD TO IT TOO.
THE STALLS AREA WAS PACKED LAST YEAR WHICH WE KEPT AWAY FROM WHILST ON OUR BIKES SO DID IT SEEM FOR MANY OTHER PEOPLE.
I WAS WONDERING WHY THIS DECISION HAD BEEN TAKEN (health and safety gone wrong)
ITS A CHEEP WAY TO KEEP THE KIDS ENTERTAINED
MAYBE I'LL HAVE TO BRING MY MAN EATING DOG

Please note that, for safety reasons, motorised scooters/bikes/skateboards (other than for disabled users and those arriving/departing by these means) are banned at this years event.

that's been on the site for years.it refers to all MOTORISED bikes etc...
at least that's how i've always read it.

About time nearly got knocked over on a few occasions last year with kids bombing around site

We took all ours last year and rode around no problem. In the busy areas we just walked through. No problem.
It helps when your parked miles away from anywhere.... midnight toilet runs in the rain!

Lots were sensibl many just rode right through the main food stall area without a care in the world

IF THATS BEEN ON THERE FOR YEARS THERE SHOULDNT BE ANY PROBLEMS THEN CHEERS FOR POINTING THAT OUT.
