I was going to order a loom for the 62 aswell because i was very pleased with the loom he made for the 61, not sure where to go now as i feel i will be disapointed with anything else

Sad for you all... I always plan aquiring parts ahead as i go...so I have all the Volksgood stuff ready..
Maybe was just lucky...I was talking to him all last year and had no inkling...

A sad day. Many years ago Peter gave a talk on starter motors at a club meeting, I turned up expecting to be bored rigid, 2 hours later I was hooked. What a fascinating lecture and a truly interesting clever man. Thank you Peter

I never met Peter but I had an electrical problem some years back and was told I could get his number off his website.

I called him up and said I used the SSVC website and that he was the man to talk to regarding electrics.

He didn't know me from Adam but still had time and talked me through the issue I had - think it was a starter issue - 20 mins of his knowledge was gratefully received.

What a top bloke.

Wow Peter, early retirement? We're not ready for that yet I hope he's enjoying his well deserved rest and hope he still makes it to a show or two. A gentleman through and through and makes the others look like they only know how to take credit card numbers.
