IIRC there is/ was a m code for belly pans if you specified these. They were fitted for cold climates to give a bit of extra protection from cold and build up of snow ice underneath....
M191 - sub floor - belly pan
Never seen this on anything...
Would expect to see on samba double doors and Golde 11 window sun roof models..
Anyone?

Another friends microbus Pitt walkthrough with poptop did have belly pans - can't remember the m code plate though.

So does mine (dd 11win) but my '60 15 window doesn't & with no evidence of having so (no evidence of any other work either so should be correct to original)
My pans on the double door are all welded in, does anybody know if this is factory correct for the centre pan? My old bay had welded outer pans & the centre one was bolt on.

DD would have pans, and they were always welded on Splits

Removed the transverse cot rail and checked mine...
It does have the M191 code!

Found the build date too 23 N
23/11/ 1964..
Catherine the 1965MY Caravette..
Knew it was first Registered in January 1965
Will load pictures when on the PC..

My 66 RHD Devon Caravette has the M code too.
Funny really as it's a bulkhead tintop so not sure why it would need them, did Devon specify anyway just in case the buyer wanted a poptop?

Checked the S042. Got pans but no 191 code.
