I've left the settings as they were out of the box and it's been fine. When I fitted it I looked at the instructions and put the fuel hoses on as the diagram shows and it ran like a bag of nails. I looked at some pics online of them fitted and the hoses were round the IThe way to the instructions so i called Eurocarb and they confirmed that the diagram instructions were wrong. Swapped the hoses round and bingo

If you want better mpg then fuel injection is the way forward.

I'm getting 32mpg crushing at 60mph - nothing special about that reading this thread but I'm running a 2332cc making 200hp!

I get the same 30-32 mpg cruising at 70 fully loaded...including 9 stone dog...and that's a genuine milage/speed according the GPS. That's with Rustina's 1800 Stroker single port....awesome engine :D

I get something less with the Turbo 15

The main reason I went for efi is because it was cheaper than a set of 48's - I don't have a bottomless pit and I have many stupid vehicles to run so I'm always looking for the cheapest option where possible  add to that the fact that I went from 15mpg to 30mpg and it pays for itself pretty quickly and that's without the better starting, better running, more power, lower emissions etc that comes as standard with efi - there's a reason you'll struggle to buy a new car or bike today with carbs :D

Whats the cost in converting to EFI on something like a mild 1776 motor.

A mild 1776 I'd go for the Mexican efi.

Something like this

Or if you want twin throttle bodies something like this

Yep, what Paul said.

The other alternative is the CB Performance kit
http://www.cbperformance.com/product-p/7075.htm

Very complete and includes the fuel pump, which the Speedshop one doesn't plus great backup support for the guys at CB, if you're experiencing problems they can proxy in online and make map changes in real time or trouble shoot if needs be.

This is the gen 4 kit, I've being running the gen 2 self tune system for 5 years.

You could probably save some money by buying all the bits separately but you'll still need someone to map it once fitted.

Throttle bodies are cheap (£425) a decent OMEX ecu can be found for £600 or so plus some wiring and sundries and you have a kit - all then depends on your spannering skills
