caveat emptor....

Before we pull apart a bus that does have a few issues, can we please remember it is someones bus. (and as far as I'm aware NOT for sale) The owners now know all the problems with the incorrect bodywork, but rather just use it and enjoy it. They bought it to use, not restore. (It often sits on the forecourt of the garage so gets lots of attention) I don't think they are on the forum, but I know I wouldn't like to have all the faults in my bus picked out by everyone.
Ta!

Totally agree Mike. It may be someone in Leeds (according to the ad) is scamming them by copying the pics from somewhere else? How difficult would it be to copy some VOTM pics and post a false advert in another part of the country?
Perhaps I should pop round this evening and let them know??
Whatcha think?

i would just to check it out, on the ad was a "click here if you think it is a scam" and see what happens then if they pull the ad or not

I emailed the owners yesterday, and they've just replied, obviously very shocked! These are the same photos that were used when they originally bought it. They said they have no intention of selling and would keep me posted of the outcome.

Right, latest news.
Susie suggested Sara, the owner, contact the Police as well as just reporting this to the website. (which several of us on here have now done, with no effect )
The 101 number advised her to ring Leeds Police, and they helpfully advised her to report it locally? So she was chasing her tail and they were passing the buck The Police weren't interested in taking any details as they said this happens a lot, and no crime has been committed until the scammer takes money from someone.
All I can suggest is we keep bombarding this dodgy website with scam reports...

Bargain at £5300
Bombard the website with scammer reports plz. Is there any way of screwing up the mobile number given on the site? Like generating multiple texts or something?

Seems to be gone.
I'm sure it will pop up again somewhere.
