I had some hose fail on my T25 syncro after been fitted for 2 years maximum, I was stunned as i'd replaced it all myself and the product had come from a local supplier. The hose on these vehicles is significantly bigger than on a splittly and within seconds I had gallons on the floor.
I think one of the key issues is that people are selling hose that is only suitable for coolant systems as it looks the same as fuel pipe however it wont have the Viton properties to stop fuel eating it.
we're doing the right thing and this wants spreading throughout all forums whatever the car type, unless you particularly don't like a certain car
