Belly pans! Yes or no?

If you'd seen how my dormobile twisted when it didn't have belly pans you'd fit them.
If I jacked up one side (or parked on rough ground) I'd have trouble opening the cargo doors.
Have a look at Mark P thread for how to rivnut them in rather than weld so you can still get access if you need to.
There's also a thread on here somewhere where Jim and I were talking about the various makes of repro pans and how thick they are. (Think it might have started with me asking if I need belly pans or not )

It may be that Devon placed an order and some were fitted with Pop Tops and some were not...

My 66 UK Devon did not have belly pans fitted.
Oh, and the pop top is no longer fitted either!

Nice one Sjtw already booked in with southcoast wagenwerks to be fitted in oct pretty much what Kev who works there said too

My bus didn't have them, but I fitted the 2 outer ones when I had it restored to add some additional rigidity. I left the centre one off.
