It's a shame we can't do more, so many of us have said in the past about poor quality but had to bite our tongues and get on with it......is this the start of the fight back!! :bounce:

At Karmann Konnection we also noticed that the 'regular' hose wasn't lasting so we also looked into it and now stock the best quality braided hose that we (I) could find.

It has a 'Din' number printed on it, not sure if thats a spec number or not, it's quite hard to read but I think says 73379-B, it also has 7,0x12,0 (we also do it in 5mm), 27/09 (the date it was made?) and 106368

The problem I have found with ALL braided hose is that it is not possible to actually inspect the rubber hose for microfractures, the same as you would do for say a brake flexi, by simply bending it and looking closely on the outside of the bend for cracks showing degradation. For this reason I have not used braided hose for at least 10+ years, because the only time you know of a problem with braided is when the cloth has completely saturated and starts dripping, by then its too late.

I wasn't aware of the ethanol issue until we went to the Breeze.

Something needs doing quickly to save anyone else losing their pride and joy.
