SSVC Parts Delivery

by Max Last » Fri Jan 02, 2015 3:30 pm
It's perhaps a bit late, but I'll offer anyway! I'm heading from South lincs to Bristol and back tomorrow ,to collect a roof rack, I'll be using the A14, M6, M42 and the M5, if anyone has a bus part or similar to move I can transport it if you meet me on route. No giraffes, pianos etc, I'm not keen on buckeroo!

Hear hear ! Lot of it about on the forum, maybe we should have a new heading - parts delivery/collection wanted/offered ?

I travel daily between Wolverhampton and Wrexham, so if anyone needs anything moving on that journey I'm happy to help or 10-15 miles around either place or my normal route.

Great idea, we need a UK map of reliable people who are willing to ferry parts who respect the worth of them. I'm in North Wales and happy to chip in and pass on to other members :)

I can do Ipswich area to Doncaster every month via A14 and A1.
Happy to pickup and drop off along route or from either end and also within a reasonable distance of that route.
Just pm me if you need a pickup/ drop off.

Think we need to put a list up
Where parts are
What they are
Where they need to be

People can look at this list and say if they can help

I only do random journeys, rather than have a regular route anywhere. As and when I`m on a jaunt I`ll post up too see if anything needs moving, I guess the other option would be to ask in here if anyone is available when a part need transporting.

Retro Rides forum has a 'Pony Express' section on it where people flag either where they're headed and when and how much space they might have (sometimes a one off trip, sometimes a regular journey) or they put a 'wanted' post up saying what they want moving from when to where. It seems to work well.
