I'm with RH, £152 fully comp ,agreed value etc. only the bus none of this multi car stuff.
Perhaps they weren't expecting the school bus to be used on the road!!!

That's about the same as me (except I'm only on half that at the moment as it's off the road). I'm an old git though @ 43  (and the wife and I have daily drivers that are not with RH).

Sounds like scene tax on that bus ;)

£168 last year fully comp for me, and that's with a Dudley post code.

~£60 this year, as harder to steal a bare shell.

Do RH require a written valuation by an 'expert' before they will insure an expensive bus? Or do they, as some do, let you set a value yourself. This would be for an agreed value policy.

Cheers

When I spoke to RH they would do:

Garaged = agreed value (but yes still need professional/club valuation)

Ungaraged but on private drive = no agreed value (still get a valuation though to prove yours is worth more than market value when claiming)

Not on private drive = won't insure

I was with Footman James before (or possibly Adrian Flux can't quite remember which now) and they did agreed value with no valuation and would have covered it parked on the street (although mine wasn't at the time). I guess that's why their policy was three times the price.
