Pretty cool, seen it on grand designs but didn't know they did 12v

Fails unsafe in driving terms so not necessarily windscreen friendly but for the other 120 windows on a samba or however many they have....

Yes, you wouldn't want them on the windscreen and you'll need a big solar panel to keep the battery alive as they'll stuck a battery flat. It's the equivalent to leaving your interior lights on all the time you want clear glass.

Should have designed it the other way round. No power = transparent

But than you need a huge leisure battery bank as it needs power when you are parked up and asleep.
You want it transparent when you are driving and that's when you are generating 'power' anyway.
