I really like it Joe.

Saw it when jimbob posted the link in the for sale area.

It's a long way for me to go and see, and if there wasn't a question mark hanging over the title (I.e that he hasn't got the title and that would throw up inevitable questions about import duty and getting it registered) I'd buy it in a New York minute.

I'd have to find somewhere larger than I have to put it though

I'd enjoy seeing the neighbours reaction to me having something on the drive resembling a monolithic loaf of bread with a caravan cover over it

Nik

It's so ugly, modifying it could only improve it.

Something like Rutlege Wood's (Top Gear USA) bread van...

Subtle, isn't it?

Yup, you got that right nik. I had problems registering mine with dvla, vosa and hmrc. You have to have the right information for dvla as we are dealing with incompetent people there.

The bread route is what i'd go down too and maybe call it the "MUDDA'S F%*&A PRIDE" van

I know, I saw an article once about matador, and the heading was "when I was born, my mum used to feed me with a sling shot". :-)

Does nobody else find this a bit suspicious? Very, very cheap for one of these vehicles & missing log book. Has a dating certificate but you can just send off for these with a chassis number. Previous owner's name and address - could be made up, whois likely to check?

Would look better slammed.
I didn't have any documents for my matador and dvla gave me an age related number for it. But I think it helped when I sent a picture of the manufacturers plate inside the cab that shows it as a 1954.

It would have to be slammed, probably on air, and sign written. It would blow the rest of my resto budget for the splitty but I am soooo close to doing it... Aaargh! Its a long way away from me thats the only issuez

It took about a couple of months as the knobs at dvla don't know what a matador is :-( and I had to explain it to them via post so it too a little time :-(
