Lots did and some got the stuff ordered but then it slowly went wrong and then lots of people got nothing, I remember him because his posting/delivery address was in Bristol (his mate or family over here).james309 wrote:Did many people buy something ?

I bought the Dormobile roof from Emi, het said that was his name.
He lives in the neighboorghoud from Milan, Italy.
My cousin lives in Switzerland and got the roof, because it was not very far for her.
It wasn't easy to make an appointment, he said he does't have a cellphone but sent email from an android.
He doesn't always respond and only wanted to meet nearby the highway so she could follow.
Fortunately he arrived at the place they agreed, only about half an hour too late.
He never gave his address, only took her to some storage garage.
He and his sister helped loading the roof and then my cousin paid en left.
After all the roof wasn't complete, because the fixing frame is missing.
Also there are some scratches and minor damage, but not too bad.
I have a phone number, but I understood it is from a pub where he is working.
I also have some pictures from him and his sister, but don't know how these can help me solve my problem.

I did consider buying his roof for a while. I'm glad I didn't now, although as soon as I realised where he was it wouldn't have been possible anyway.
Can Dormibile sort you out with the bit you're missing?

This all sounds too familiar...We had lots of problems with a poster on here doing just the same about 2 years ago..
I suspect it is the same Italian.
He has no address uses other people's addresses and sets up email addresses and Facebook and ebay.
He was banned from the samba.com
It is a shame but his speciality was buying things on eBay and selling them again before he received them and then refusing to pay because he had not received the item...
So the sellers account was frozen whilst he was selling on another account.
Sad but the SSVC Forum allows non members to sell without any provenance that they are reputable.
Genuine buyers want genuine sellers to be able to sell them items...but we need some way of safeguarding....
He is a shyster... A thief..
Sad because he does have nice pictures of nice items which he may have...
Maybe someone with a frame can supply dims or get a copy made for you Eric..

I have contacted him many times about the missing Dormobile roof frame.
When there again is no reaction from him, he will also be banned from bugbus.net, I had contact with the administrator.
Maybe you can also point this out to him.

May be it helps if more people send a message to marktplaats.nl like this in an advertisement "Meld aan Marktplaats":
Then select "Verdachte adverteerder", which means "Suspicious advertiser".
