hi
I am having to put my splitscreen under a loose cover for the winter is it a good idea to put a small greenhouse heater (mains electric type ) in the van to keep cosy or does this cause other problems

I wondered if the same for my Elise. Decided no point, so it's just on a maintenance charger with a moisture zapper thing in it. Much cheaper than heating your garden

Cold and dry is what you want, if it is a loose cover then it should be able to breath ok as there will always be some moisture in the air so if you introduce any warmth (Heater) under a nice dark cover you will probably end up with a furry mouldy interior very quickly...

What? It would probably cost less to store it in a proper facility then to run an electric heater day and night.
Plus heat inside cold outside will create major condensation issues.
Don't do it.
Open up the windows a tad and let it all breath
