Bank transfers fir buses

Hi need some advice I've got a guy interested in buying my bus he is from the netherland and I'm in UK he wants to pay a deposit into my account t by bank transfer then the rest when he picks it up ? Is how safe is this method obviously he will need my a c no and sort code ,any advice

I’ve both been paid and paid for a bus using a bank transfer. The BACS method cost about £20 but gave peace of mind for both sides. Money was in almost instantaneously. I’d have no problem doing it again.

I paid for mine via BAC's in two hits.

No problem, safest & quickest way. If transferring from a european account wont be instantaneous as if uk to uk bank.
Dont release until funds are clear in your account.

Ok guys thanks for that theres always an element of fear ,I suppose both sides need to show some trust.
