Roof rack question

Roof rack question

by 66Westy & 64Bug » Sat Oct 17, 2020 9:23 pm
Hi I've just bought a westy 3 bow rack from Wolfsburg west.
I've not assembled it yet and just wondered if the just campers cover fits with a roof rack?
Just thought I'd ask before trying myself.

yeah fitted over my split, snag is with a lot of rain the water sits in the centre of the rack and puts a strain on the cover on the corners of the cover where it fits over the rack.

Thanks airkooled72, it's under a carport so rain won't be a issue.

why fit a cover if it's under a car port ?

it will survice winter better if you wax it and leave it under the car port uncovered
popping it in a big plastic bag isnt good for condensation etc..and really is a last resort if you dont have a garage or car port
let it breath, it will last longer ;-)
