i remember that reg too.it was the first splitty i saw in leicester.around 94.it was 2 tone brown.

They are late bay arches but not central to the wheel.. 8O

Hang on a sec ..... I drive past this one on my way home every evening and I don't go via Leeds. I recognised the trailer and the unusual front bumper.

Don't want to knock a seller before I know all the info but maybe I'll take a peek tonight!

Very spooky... there's a similar RHD bus here in Southampton... Same bumpers, bay arches, colour... It belongs to the wife of a local garage owner. This is the only pic I've got to hand though...

I only met the owners at this BBQ, nice family. Not had the bus long. Not into the VW scene, just fancied a bus and saw this on ebay and bought it. It was around the £10,000 mark. They've since been informed about all the faults with it, but I don't think are too bothered, and would rather just get out there and use and enjoy it. I'm not sure where it came from, or where it was restored. Judging by the bits used maybe Thailand??
Riva lives just down the road from them, I've dropped him a pm about this. I don't think they are on the forum.
