Porsche fan kit.....

Porsche fan kit.....

by PastDown » Tue Mar 23, 2010 9:10 am
I was just wondering how much a second hand Porsche fan kit would go for and if they ever come up for sale.

Cheers

They do. Price will probably depend on if its a Porsche kit, or a CSP cut down fan with Golf alternator.

Where is the best place to keep an eye out for one? Do you know of any good sites?

Regarding the CSP cut down fan with Golf alternator, what are they like performance wise and how can you tell the different between the two?

Cheers

On the CSP version, the blades are cut down smaller to fit a new fan ring. I don't know the amp rating of the two alternators, but there's probably a £100 difference in Porsche vs VAG price tag...

I think second hand Porsche kits start at about 450$ complete with used 911 fan/ring.
