upholstery recomendation ?

by panel van lee » Tue Jan 10, 2012 11:18 pm
Hi.
Can anyone recommend a good upholsterer, as the company i was going to use to trim my van out are unable to book my van in till june.
I'm in Nottingham but are willing to travel for a good quality job ,but without paying a fortune.
Any advice or even photos/links to work carried out would be appreciated.
Thanks Lee.

Try http://www.harlequincartrimming.co.uk based in Leeds. Quite a few guys in the Bradford/York area have used them.
Forum member Tridau is worth PM'ing and asking him his opinion about price/standard of finish they achieved on his Bus.

Hi.
Thanks for all the great replys/links. Time to start looking through them and ringing round.
I think my biggest problem is, i've left booking the van in a little late as i wanted it trimmed out before vic farm meet.
After spending the last 4 years restoring the van and only getting it on the road late last year, ive been ignoring the jobs that need finishing and enjoying the driving to much.
Cheers Lee.

Hi berpsta.
At least it's a panel van so people can't see the backs not trimmed if i don't get it booked in.

Hi Kerry.
Thanks for the reply,i've looked at classic custom and retro, but they tend to have a long waiting list which would not fit my time scale.

Cheers Lee.

Hi mate,

Robs work is great and I believe his waiting list s no more than a couple of months.

Top guy, and does not charge over the odds!
