Arival at the campsite,

On the thursday we set up camp, and on friday we had a free day so we went for a bit of a walk around the local town. Took a few pictures it was really cool. Found a few shops to get our needs, such as milk, bread and beer. :cheers:

It had some cool looking places.

Plenty of individual bus shots of pretty much every bus that was there on the saturday cruise.

We took a cruise, we were at the front so didn't get many pictures of that, untill we cruised home

We went over to an industrial estate where a few restoration companys were. Doing Scooters / VWs / Porsche's etc. Got some free drinks and some munch! Plenty of cool stuff, I got distracted by the awesome beetles

Though it was a " Split only " show, the campsite could be booked by anyone, so someone must have invited this cool ghia out to play

I had a fantastic weekend away. I would recomend this to any split enthusaist who wants an awesome weekend away that is really relaxed and chilled. Perfect organisation all weekend and its definately a family friendly event. There were stuff for kids everywhere, the site you stay on had so much to do, and when you camp there you get free tickets to the swimming pool, so even better

Fantastic pics. As they say, a picture paints a thousand words and that was a brilliant write up. I see there was your bugs older brother on the industrial estate

some serious camber going on there as well

Yea funky_rick but dont let that put you off,as on evry alternative year its Splits at the lake,which is just as good ,but in Holland :lol:
