VW suppliers selling poor qaulity fuel line, Petition

by readyboy61 » Mon Jul 22, 2013 7:29 pm
Hi,

Recently there is been many a VW go up in flames, one of the key issues is poor quality fuel line braking down faster because of modern fuels, the type im talking about is the cotton braided rubber lines, i believe what the suppliers are selling is sub standard and is putting first lives at risk along with peoples pride and joy.

Is it not time the vw community spoke?
Please have a look at the link below it contains very important info and they can supply the proper stuff

http://www.volksbolts.com/faq/fuelhose.htm

if you think we need to put a stop to the suppliers selling this sub standard product please add your name to the list, i will send the info/link from this site with all our names on it to the suppliers and the magazines , in the meantime does anyone know where i can send samples of this fuel lines which i will collect from the various suppliers to send off for testing?

Thanks for your time

Add me - Ben Morgan. If it's not fit for purpose then it shouldn't be sold

Noticed today, and had it comfirmed from Machine7 that they have withdrawn fuel hose from their listings until a modern grade supplier is sorted. :D

Yes confirmed to me also, they have stated "We've had no problems and want to keep it that way"

Just making final choice of supplier then stocking SAE J30 hose
