Seedlings Splittie Scalextrics Competition - copied from other post:

Well, we've now received 3 entries with a further one promised in the post. Thanks!

There is still time to send your entry - anything that arrives by the beginning of next week will be counted - if you're a bit worried it might not make it then just let us know it's coming.
Matthew will be at the technical weekend and will hopefully have a few templates with him so you can either complete one there or drop off the ones you've already done.

Looking forward to some more works of art over the weekend.

Can I take this opportunity to thank Jackie for having us this weekend, what a great weekend it turned out to be, nice crowd all willing to have a chat, some we new, some we didn't , and the Saturday night get together was a wizz, brilliant as I heard some gentleman say.
We both hope you will consider this again in the future, please..... :bounce:
On a more worrying note, there seemed to be an older guy there most of the time too wondering about and while we found this strange, he seemed friendly enough, some times we found him hanging around our van looking sorry for himself so we offered him tea and coffee which he gladly excepted, bless him, smoked a lot too......mmmmm bad habit me thinks!

Ah well, glad to be home munching on our left over cake.

What happened to the older guy........will have to wait and see!!!

Nice to meet you all

To add my thanks to Eddy, Jackie and everyone else that made this a really great weekend.

I learnt so much, met a load of friendly people and the sun shone, brilliant!

I now wish I stayed a member whilst my van was off the road, but membership now renewed and looking forward to meeting up with more members

Thanks again
