just been cleaning out the samba ready for some major surgery and came across a couple of those excellant beer glasses that that beautifull blond lager came in at bbt
i would post them back but i`m afraid they would get broken..............

you mean similar to these????
i've had these for ages and couldn't believe the similarity when i saw those on the pick up bar at bbt's.....
to be honest..jo,the bar owner gave me them as we 'hit it off'

Because people were nicking them, when he had lost 60, the barman started serving the beer in plastic.
He explained this when I asked for my beer in a glass, fair enough I thought.
They were his glasses for his business, nothing to do with BBTs and he needed them for a wedding reception he was working at the next day.
He did say he would get more made and we could email him and buy one instead.
Anyway we helped him clear up and pack away the stools when we had drunk his bar dry so I asked really nicely if I could have a glass.
His answer was, ''well I have lost 60, 61 is not going to make a difference!'' and handed me a glass.
So anyone else get a glass WITHOUT a guilty conscience?
He explained this when I asked for my beer in a glass, fair enough I thought.
