ok.. i've found my "remittance slip" for the crossing. I guess that's enough. Will they require any ID. Photo Driving licence ok? surely no need for a passport...

just been thinking about them, not much fun with kids to. Can they all sleep in the van? don't fancy them setting up camp in this, I'd do the travelodge in Liverpool if it was me.

ok? surely no need for a passport...


been thinking about this but i know when Marie use to work and live there in the seventies 8O she didn't even have one.

looking like lots of cancellations tonight but the goods news is they are all being diverted to Birkenhead. So not to far if the worst happens

We got back in record time :)

We had a brilliant weekend thanks to the fantastic effort from the I.O.M. club. You all deserve a medal. The hospitality was 110% :D

I cant thank the guys and girls of the iom vw club enough, there was 110% effort made by them to make it a remember able weekend.

Thanks for the concern, camped on the north face of the Wirrel Thursday and last night, fantastic site and very friendly but bloody cold on Thursday, better yesterday.

Just got home and Mike's getting dinner on. 8)

Thank you all on the IOM it was fantastic, more photos to be added by us later. :wink:

I've asked Doc to set up an IOM section, like the Bad Camberg bit so we can have all the posts there.

Was thinking about you all today i noticed that a few junctions were closed on the m6 on the signs while driving home. Glad you got home ok nice to see that all your clan were so well behaved unlike someone who's name begins with S. S. :wink: Speak to you soon uncle K
