Repro badges are available from Ray at SSVC Spares.
They're usually stuck on the front cargo door at the top of the lower panel, i.e. with the top just below the swage line, in the middle of the door. I'll have to track a piccy down on the samba.

I spent a bit of time looking at photos I've saved and can't see this badge on any later models - in Eccles book you can clearly see it on Ritchie Kings camper (does he still own that??) David's own van is a Torvette so I guess that would be different anyway - but it is on a '68 Eurovette bay so methinks they should all have them??

I've only ever seen them on 61-64 models. The SSVC mag had an original 65 featured in the oct/nov issue and it didn't have one. Still i spose if they're readily available they're a cool bit of bling, and who the hell is gona know (even we don't

My Feb 65 Devon had one, even has the pins on the cargo door for it, and thanks to bobley sending one to Sydney for me it will have one back on there tomorrow, albeit a repro.
Cheers

It's gathering dust in a corner of the paint shop. Seems they're always going to start it "next week"Bathtub57 wrote: Exactly! How's your project coming along anyway - any update pics???

Steve - Did your 65 also have the small badge on passenger interior door like this? The 65's i've seen do have (including mine).

I was thinking from 65 on they moved the badge inside, but if you have both badges then that's possibly blown my theory to pieces
