Sorry to kick up and old thread, but does anyone have any pics of the plastic/woven interior badge described in this thread but not pictured
I was lucky enough to find a nice OG cargo door badge on ebay for a great price

For a 64 the Interior Caravette badge would have been an enamel one on the passenger door at the top...This was fitted through 65 and in 66 was changed to the plastic weave finish badge.
Enamel badge up to 65
Woven finish badge - shown here with pop top badge from 66?

I'm sure this topic was covered on a previous thread. The Devon caravette badge was only fitted to Devon Caravette's, a bit of campsite snobery to show you spent the extra bit of money and bought a Caravette and not the cheaper Devonette. As to where it is fitted; Either of the Cargo doors had them, it all depended on the lockers fitted to the doors. My 64 didn't have the Wash Cupboard fitted so the Badge is on the left hand Cargo Door. I you think of it logically why would they take of a trim panel just to fit the Badge when they allready had a Cargo Door stripped down to fit the woodwork for mounting the Cupboard. I also have the small Devon Badge on the inside of the passenger Cab Door and if you had a Martin Walker elevating roof there would be a Martin Walker badge on the inside of the passenger Cab Door. I have owned my Devon Caravette for nearly 25 years and spent a great deal of time over the years researching and photographing Devon's to make sure mine was correct when I restored it.

Sherry the Devonette says CORRECT. ..
The only caste metal external badge we know about from the Devon conversions range says CARAVETTE.
However we have seen an internal passenger door plastic badge saying TORVETTE and the Devonette had a pressed brass badge saying Devonette on the side of the tall rear cupboard. .
We have one.

Hi, I have the badge with the palm tree but before i fit it do any of you know if a 66 space way is a caravette or caravelle or is the space way a model of its own and if so did it have any badges of its own?
Thanks.
Thanks.

the 'spaceway' was the walkthrough version of the caravette
Not entirely sure whether the 66 model had the cast alloy badge on the cargo door though…or whether it has a plastic style badge
66 guru's step forward

Thanks, More info like this would be great, Any one got a copy of the brochure above they want to sell??
its a nice but not totally original bus so may just mount the badge anyway as it all adds to the look of the bus even if the experts will point out it's wrong.
