Recovering An Easicool Door

Bit of a long shot, but i'd like to make it as close to the original vinyl as poss. It's red background with a sort of darker red weave pattern over it. Anyone done one or know where to get this colour and pattern

I doubt you will find this exact pattern new, but there's a chance that some old school upholsterers might have it, even in NZ.
I found some of the right black vinyl stashed away at my local upholsterers - they never throw anything out and have loads of interesting cloth and vinyl. I also found a piece of the correct dark grey that wraps around the seat backs in a 64 walkthrough - enough to do the backs and reline the dash tray. They charged me £2 for it to top up their tea fund
I know what the Easicool red stuff looks like so I'll have a look for you next time I'm down there.

After searching high and low for the red self adhesive vinyl i drew a blank. Then while in at a sign-writers for something else i mentioned it to him, and turned out he had the right stuff, although a bit glossy had to laminate to give the matt finish. So that's another part ticked off and good to go...

I could but i live down in The Shakey Isles which is a long way to ship it..Also it isn't perfect, as in doesn't have the slightly darker weave pattern through it, just plain darkish red. I'm sure your local sign man could help you out..
