me tooo..I keep looking and can think of several places...i've been out to my 65 twice and just .... :scratch: :scratch: :scratch: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Looking in my collection of brochures but the :drunken: :drunken: :drunken: :drunken: :drunken: is getting in the way..

I now have got a few more but still not the 66 or the other one you have...LOL

You still did not complete the question of the rail...

after a bit more research I can only find ONE 8O Devon conversion this piece of oak is from :lol:

Not a Devon expert (SO42 owner) but did own one many years ago. It looks like one of the rails that holds the table in its storage place in the cabinet over the back seat?

I am close or should I stick with Westfalia conversions instead!

mmmm that is really interesting...
Off to look at my VW Microbus drinks holder panel to see if the holes are there to show if there was a wooden rail like this fitted on the 62 Devonette...
It has the pole table which sits in the centre...but the edge sits up close (how close?) to the drinks holder...never thought about there being a wooden rail

I know there are holes for the "removed" ash tray holder But never though about that a piece of wood might have been attached...
PO removed most of the side seat and burned it on his log burner..But i suspect it had been butchered anyway..
