ORIGINAL POST

I've had a couple of these made recently, and have a couple that will be finished in a couple of weeks, but cannot source any of the brackets they fit into.

Does anyone need the canvas and poles but already have the brackets?

If so let me know

Cheers

Neil

The JK ones are more like bay ones with the round pole ends that sit in kind of half-round plastic brackets. The Westy ones for splits have different length poles and the ends are forged over in a flat shape which fit into metal brackets.

I have now managed to find someone who will make the brackets for me, so if anyone needs a full set (or some spare brackets) pm me

I have some pics that I can e-mail, but don't know how to post them on here

Phil

If anyone has a sample/measurements then I can get some made up, but I'm beginning to think they are mythical!, I've only ever seen a photo of one, and am not confident enough to guess at what they should be.

Would like one myself

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Hi Phil

Yes please, also, how is it fastened to the top of the wardrobe?

Hi Neil, Some pics although the boot looks blue its more of a bluey/grey colour & fastens onto the top of the side wardrobe with some small phillips screws , will measure it later

My boot is different to Phil's (Surreysplit), same shape and size but mine is made out of the same material as the cot itself. Phil's looks like it is vinyl from the photo's? I am certain mine is original and not something someone has knocked up from material.

Glad to know how it attaches now, I bought one of the repro cots about 2 months ago and they are fantastic quality, look and fit.

What is the boot for? Is it to hold the cot when folded away?

Quite fancy a cot. Do you reckon either of my kids would fit? One is 24, the other a 19 year old rugby prop! Ha!
