4 inch high density foam or 5 inch foam?

4 inch high density foam or 5 inch foam?

by Florence » Sat Oct 01, 2011 5:48 pm
So I know everyone is saying 5 inch foam is the way to go, is that still the case with good quality high density stuff??

My bus is now pretty much there mechanically and it's time to make some decisions about the interior :bom: :compress:

I'm hoping to get camping in the spring and I'm very excited

Hi Florence,

I recently had some foam cut I think to 5 inches but I think I am going to get it cut down to 4.

I am making a camper interior for my camper and I am also making another to sell on. I've pm you some links.

For best results get 3" standard foam (the cheaper stuff) then top it with either 1" memory foam or the best quality foam.

Standard foam is a blue/green colour and the best quality stuff is pink ish colour.

Info fresh from a marine upholstery course.
