1967 UK RHD Devon walkthrough, SOLD
by moler » Sat Apr 05, 2014 1:11 pm
I can't really believe I'm doing this, but with my move from shift work to days I have very little project time, and with one the go already this will never get done.
So, here we have a 1967 Splitscreen Devon Torvette Spaceway walkthrough camper, an original UK vehicle with only 3 previous owners.
The camper is currently on the road, and is MOT'd till June, and I think it would easily pass one now except for a inoperable screen washer motor. I'd happily jump in it and drive anywhere, it's mechanically very original and very good (even the heater works!) except for a little play in the steering box, but there's another included in the sale.
That said the camper will need a full restoration some time soon, it's structurally sound but far from original. It's fine above the beltline though, as I've already done the windscreen bottom edges. Included are a set of Autocraft panels to sort the nose, and also outriggers and jacking points.
Buses like this don't come up very often, so I don't expect it to hang around, if it does it just means I get to use for a little while longer.
I would consider a part exchange, but it must be VW shaped, RHD, aircooled, tax exempt, and in very good condition.
£11,500.
The bus is located in the DN40 area, there's a train station 300 yards away so easy to get to.
My number is 07762 282 995

Up for a rather good bus. For you guys with an 11k budget, get oneself going in the direction of this seller.
