FOR SALE: 1952 barndoor

FOR SALE: 1952 barndoor

by sandergielen » Fri May 15, 2015 9:21 pm
Selling my 1952 barndoor. Chassis number: 20-026698. Which makes her one of the 160 oldest barndoors still alive according to Tonny´s registery.

It´s not for the faint hearted!! She needs a lot of work, it´s a major project. There are some guys out there resurrecting these buses, I am sure this bus can be saved as well. Here´s a link to other major projects I found on thesamba.com, it´s called ´Awesome BD resurrection/build threads´:

I will consider any serious and reasonable offer!

Happy to ship world wide.

Yes, you are right, sorry. Price including shipment to Tilbury is £ 9.000. But as I wrote in the add, I will consider any reasonable and serious offers.

well if you look at it.. everything, if you want it to be a nice barndoor again :) check the rear hatch, 4th window, mask. BUT it's probably good as is if you just want a bus for cheap - and decide to restore it in 5 years - 10 years - the value will probably only go up, either way. (massively)
but that's just my 5 cents :)

So £5k for a 3 inch bit of mild steel with some numbers stamped on it, Thats what you would get as there isn't even a factory vin tag.

Im not saying your not right but if thats the case this barndoor thing is out of hand and it just shows what ridiculous lengths some folks will/do go to just to jump on the bandwagon.
