1967 panel van and 1963 panel van- cheap!!!! SOLD

VW Split Screen 1967 LHD Sliding Door Panel Van
This is a rare ex bundepost van with factory ordered sliding door which were only available on 1967 models.
Imported from Germany, UK registered on the 21/12/07
Has Safari windows on the front
Cigarette lighter socket
Has been professionally insulated and fitted with a bespoke walnut interior with 240v plug sockets all ready to be wired up with the wires under the unit which can be easily wired up.
The bed is a metal 3/4 rock and roll bed by Volkswares which cost me quite a bit! the bed will need a set of foam and upholstered as required to your taste.
MOT for 12months with no advisory - it needed a new tyre and some bulbs

Engine is a very strong single port 1500 cc engine which starts every time even when being stored over time. It has been all over the uk without missing a beat.
Thousands has been spent on the vehicle, most receipts to hand but have lost some over the years.
There are 2 very nice roof racks included in the sale but the cases and cooler box seen in some photos are not included with the sale.
Underneath is solid and wax oiled.
Rust is shown in the photos and and will need a bit of looking at although on the MOT inspection it didn't require any thing so its the panels....(you could rub the whole thing down, call it a "patina" look and charge more like loads of people seem to do?!)
£13000ono
My other one is a 1963 panel LHD with barn door.
This was restored some 10years ago for the previous owner for the show scene.
Its a 1600 with twin webers, loud exhaust (don't know what it is)its actually pretty quick!
Full IRS
Very clean inside with seating and pull out bed - home made look (not metal)
The front cab has all been trimmed with grey vinyl/leather.
Original port wheels with stamps on the back - not fakes!
The white paint has some bubbles (1mm) but not sure what it is- its not rust.
£17000ono
Any questions or if you want more photos let me know! 07736 463588 Nick
thanks!

They're lovely, but I am from Romania and the transport taxes are huge.

I think most of us here already have a split screen bus.

I think panel vans are always a smaller/niche market , add that to the time of year when not much is selling as well. Personally I am looking for another camper but my budget is for the grey one though my heart prefers the purple. Good luck with the sales though.

Unfortunately the market seems flooded with panels at the moment....I can't believe the sliding door one is still available at that price though...also a lot of people want bus's with windows for kids etc
